Employee Assistance Program
UConnectCare’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides professional counseling services to help employees and their families deal with a variety of problems which may adversely affect their job performance and/or personal well-being.
At any given time, 20 percent of the workforce is experiencing personal problems.
All employees covered by their employer’s EAP contract may utilize EAP services. Use of EAP is voluntary, but often encouraged by employers. Extended family members and significant others are also eligible to receive services.
EAP provides an initial evaluation, counseling and referral for any employee confronting personal problems such as work-related or personal stress, anxiety, depression, family or marital problems and alcohol or substance abuse.
