UConnectCare provides safe, supportive residential and detox services for individuals at every stage of recovery. Our programs address the mental, physical, and emotional needs of those impacted by substance use disorder through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered care.

Residential Care Team

Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals, including:

  • Medical Director
  • Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners
  • Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASAC/CASAC-T)
  • Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) & Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)
  • Health Educator
  • Vocational Counselor

Detox Center

A safe, medically supervised starting point for recovery.  UConnectCare’s Detox Center provides 24/7 care for individuals beginning the withdrawal process.

Located at 424 East Main Street, Batavia, NY (co-located with Atwater Community Residence)

  • 16 beds | Ages 18+
  • Open Access: Monday–Friday, 9:00–11:00 a.m. (no appointment or referral needed)

Medical Supervision
Our team works to:

  • Safely reduce substances in the body
  • Manage withdrawal symptoms
  • Prevent medical complications

We are able to accept individuals withdrawing from:

  • Alcohol
  • Opioids
  • Benzodiazepines

Treatment Services
In addition to medical care, patients participate in:

  • Daily group therapy
  • Morning meditation
  • Recovery-focused support in a structured environment

Detox is often the first step in recovery, helping individuals stabilize and prepare for ongoing treatment.

Atwater Community Residence

Structured residential care for men building a foundation in recovery. Atwater Community Residence provides a highly supportive, structured environment for men working toward long-term recovery.

Located at 424 East Main Street, Batavia, NY

  • 21 beds | Men 18+
  • Staffed 24/7
  • Located in a welcoming, historic home

What to Expect
Residents receive:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Medical and mental health care
  • Three balanced meals daily
  • Structured daily routines
  • House meetings and community outings

Focus of Care
This program helps individuals:

  • Build coping and life skills
  • Reconnect with family and support systems
  • Address legal or vocational needs
  • Prepare for independent living

Women & Children’s Center

A supportive, family-centered environment for women in recovery.  UConnectCare’s Women & Children’s Center offers comprehensive residential services designed specifically for women, including those with young children.

Located at 3597 Butts Road, Albion, NY

  • 25 beds
  • Accommodations for up to 5 women with children (age 5 and under)
  • Peaceful, wooded setting

What to Expect
Residents receive:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Medical and mental health care
  • Three balanced meals daily
  • Structured routines, house meetings, and outings

Supportive Living

Transitional housing for continued growth and independence.  Supportive Living offers individuals the opportunity to transition from residential care into more independent, community-based living.

Shared houses for men and women located in Batavia and Albion

  • Staff available 24/7 (off-site support)
