Recovery Services
At UConnectCare, we provide a variety of services to support individuals and families in recovery from a substance use disorder. We also have services to help those just starting out on their recovery journey. Our team is committed to helping individuals of all ages, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and genders find a meaningful path to recovery.
Peer Advocate Services
Certified Recovery Peer Advocates and The Recovery Station staff are available to provide non-clinical support to those seeking it. They have a strength-based approach, using their own lived experience to foster hope, engagement, and long-term wellness.

Our team uses evidence-based practices to provide support.
- Person-centered care: focusing on the individual’s holistic self-determined goals, strengths and needs
- Active listening and empathy: building trust through validations of experiences, showing empathy and providing non-judgmental support in an accepting environment
- Community resources navigation: connecting individuals to external supports such as housing, employment, education, support groups, and social services
- Outreach and engagement: connecting to services within various settings in the community for collaboration in the recovery process
- Harm reduction strategies: offering non-judgmental support to individuals who may not be ready to abstain completely; meeting them where they are at.
- Advocacy: assisting individuals in navigating systems and ensuring their voice is heard.
- Ethical Modeling: maintaining professional boundaries while demonstrating healthy, recovery-oriented behavior and communication
Peers are available to meet people anywhere within the community or at The Recovery Station.

The Recovery Station
Providing safe, sober health and wellness activities geared toward individuals in recovery and their families.
The Recovery Station is a community based, non-clinical setting that is safe, welcoming and alcohol/drug free located at 5256 Clinton Street Road in Batavia.
The Recovery Station will promote long-term recovery through skill building, recreation, wellness education, employment readiness, other social activities and peer support.
